Recommend SELA for roofing and siding. They did our roof last year and siding this year. Beautiful and professional. Check out the double 7″ lap SolidCore siding by Crane. If you do not have SELA at least quote your job, you are making a mistake. These are the “go to” people. SolidCore makes your house up to 45% more quiet–it is nearly unbelieveable! The dog doesn’t hear cars pulling up in the driveway anymore. And it does not look like typical vinyl siding–looks more like wood siding.

Our partner and vendor, Owens Corning released their sustainability report for the year and successfully met all seven goals they set for the past year. We are proud to work with them to help make the world a little greener!
Some highlights include:
Completed several greenhouse gas reduction projects while laying the groundwork for many others, including diesel-to-natural gas transportation fuel-switching, fuel cells, waste heat recovery, biomass, solar, and combined heat and power.
Partnered with The World Resources Institute on its Aqueduct project to conduct a global water stress assessment of Owens Corning’s global operations and completed several successful major water use reduction projects in stressed areas.
Released the first Environmental Product Declarations (EPD) for fiberglass insulation in North America.
Donated enough insulation and roofing material to reroof 283 homes and insulate more than 1,000 homes for those in need.
Minneapolis Mayor RT Rybak announced the launch of the Minneapolis Green Homes North Initiative to create 100 new homes in the North Minneapolis neighborhood that are environmentally friendly. Sela partner Andersen Windows has been selected as a supplier!
